PT - Physical Therapist

Job Details:

• 8-hour day shifts starting at 8:00 AM
• Every other weekend shift required with 2 weekend shifts per month
• First to float policy in effect
• Primarily working in skilled nursing facility with training to float to inpatient acute care hospital located in the same parking lot
• Inpatient care setting only
• Treat 8-9 patients per day in post-acute setting
• Cover A, B, C, and D stations
• Floor-specific orientation provided
• Common diagnoses include total joint replacements, stroke, deconditioning, pneumonia, balance difficulties, CVA, TKA, THA, COPD, and chronic conditions in geriatric patients
• Must be able to work independently and perform transfers
• Excellent communication skills required
• Must work closely with interdisciplinary team
• Charting system: Cerner EMR
• Scrub color: Burgundy
• Holiday shifts may be required
• Required certifications: CA PT License, BLS (AHA)
