ED - Emergency Room

Opportunity:

RN - ER

Job Details:

• 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, working 3x12s or 4x12s (36 or 48 hours per week)
• Every other weekend required, specifically Friday and Saturday nights
• No on-call required
• No holiday requirement
• Emergency Department Float Pool position serving pediatric through geriatric patients
• Traveler will remain within the Emergency Department and will not float to inpatient units
• 2 years of Emergency Department RN experience required
• Combined Adult/Pediatric Emergency Department experience required
• Strong ED skills required including triage/ESI, EKG and STEMI recognition, arrhythmia management, stroke/NIHSS/TNK, sepsis/shock, and behavioral emergencies
• Must be comfortable with pediatric emergencies, airway/RSI support, defibrillation/cardioversion, vasopressors, blood transfusions, and IV insertion
• Charting system: Epic experience required
• Scrub color: Navy blue
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and PALS
• PA RN license required upon submittal; ASN is accepted
• All time off requests must be submitted with the submittal and written into the offer
