Telemetry RN Job in San Antonio, TX

Methodist Hospital in San Antonio is seeking an RN for a 13-week contract position on the Telemetry unit. You will work 3x12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM with a guaranteed 36 hours per week. This role is ideal for experienced travel nurses ready to join a dynamic care team.

About the Role

You will provide direct patient care on a Telemetry unit, monitoring cardiac rhythms and managing patient conditions. Your responsibilities include performing procedures such as TEE and cardioversion, documenting care in Meditech, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams. All staff are required to float per Methodist's floating policy to support facility needs.

Requirements

• Current, active Texas RN license (temporary licenses not accepted)
• Minimum 2+ years of experience on a Telemetry unit
• Minimum 2+ years of travel nursing experience
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Meditech experience preferred

Schedule & Compensation

You will work rotating nights (7:00 PM to 7:30 AM) on a 3x12 schedule with rotating weekends. There are no on-call requirements. Weekly pay is $1,665, with a guaranteed 36 hours per week over the 13-week assignment. The position begins September 3, 2026.

Facility Expectations

Methodist Hospital maintains specific dress code standards: navy scrub top and pants with a navy or white scrub jacket. A clean and healthy nail policy applies, and hair should be neat and clean with no extreme styles or colors. Body art should be covered whenever possible, and visible piercings other than ears are not permitted.
