Job Details:

• Night shift position with 12-hour shifts
• Option to work 36 or 48 hours per week
• 13-week or 26-week contract available with September start dates
• Every other weekend and every other holiday required
• Must work 2 out of 3 winter holidays
• Self-scheduling model in place; manager will do best to accommodate desired schedule
• Care for patients in the NICU, PICU, high-risk deliveries, and acute care pediatrics
• Work across all units within the Children's Hospital
• Patient age groups include neonates, infants, adolescents, and pediatrics
• Must have Level 4 NICU experience
• Cardiac PICU experience preferred
• Must be competent in the use of both the Bunnell Jet Ventilator and HFOV 3100A
• Work within a multidisciplinary team requiring strong communication and critical thinking skills
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• Epic experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, NRP, RRT, and Virginia State License
• PALS and ACCS preferred
• Virginia license accepted as pending provided a temp license can be obtained before start; must hold another state license to be eligible for temp license
