PCU RN Job in Longview, TX

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking an RN for a 91-day travel assignment at CHRISTUS Good Shepherd Medical Center Longview. You'll work full-time on a Progressive Care Unit, caring for patients with varying diagnoses and acuity levels including respiratory conditions, sepsis, and multiple comorbidities.

Position Details:

• Specialty: Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
• Shift: 12-hour days, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, three days per week
• Duration: 91 days
• Start Date: August 31, 2026
• Weekly Pay: $1,801

Your Responsibilities:

• Provide routine and complex nursing care utilizing the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation
• Administer medications and treatments per protocol; monitor for side effects and effectiveness
• Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families
• Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided
• Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, family members, and caregivers
• Make appropriate assignments and delegate to other care providers as needed
• Practice independently in the clinical setting with awareness of all relevant aspects of patient care

Requirements:

• Current RN license in Texas or compact license
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a related nursing specialty
• Current BLS certification (AHA only)
• Current ACLS certification (AHA only)
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred
