Med Surg RN Job in Atlanta, GA

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Registered Nurse for a 77-week travel assignment at Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta, GA. You will join the Medical Surgical Oncology unit beginning August 10, 2026.

Role Overview

You will provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical Oncology setting. Your patient population will include oncology diagnoses, step-down care cases, and patients with sickle cell disease. You will work 3 shifts per week at 12 hours each during day hours.

Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate nursing care to patients across oncology, step-down, and specialized hematology cases
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support patient recovery and comfort
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and communication
• Adhere to hospital protocols and clinical standards

Requirements

• Current RN license with Nursys verification
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Medical Surgical nursing in a similar-size hospital setting
• Chemotherapy certification preferred
• Valid certification card required
• Resume or work history with no employment gaps greater than 60 days
• Completed skills checklist
• Professional references
• Badge-appropriate photo for profile submission
• No requested time off during assignment

Compensation & Schedule

You will earn $1,726.60 per week. Your assignment runs for 77 weeks with a start date of August 10, 2026. This is a day-shift position offering the flexibility of a part-time three-day work week with 12-hour shifts.
