Opportunity:

RN - Acute Med Surg Acute Care

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour shifts from 6:45 AM/PM to 7:15 AM/PM
• Every other weekend requirement
• Holiday shifts as needed
• Patient ratio of 1:5, possibly 1:6 for both days and nights
• Scrub color required: Caribbean Blue
• Telemetry monitored on a different unit
• Floating required to all acute care, cardio for medical patients, and EC for acute care patient holds
• 44-bed unit with a staff of 40
• CNA support available at ratios of 1:8, generally 1:10, may also serve as sitters
• Charting system: Meditech (experience preferred but not required)
• 1 week of general orientation including EMR training, followed by 2 days of floor-specific orientation
• Cancellation policy: 12 hours every 2 weeks
• Minimum 1 year of experience required with at least 1 travel assignment
• Must reside within a strict 75-mile radius from hospital (as shown on driver's license)
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), NIHSS (both must be AHA)
• BSN not required
