ED - Emergency Room

RN - ER

Job Details:

• Work day shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• 3-5 years of experience preferred
• Strong Emergency Department skills required
• Outstanding customer service and team support skills expected
• Fast-paced department with a high admission rate
• Adult community emergency department with 16 beds and approximately 25,000 annual cases
• Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:3-4
• Top diagnoses and procedures include stroke, STEMI, sepsis, respiratory and cardiac diseases, and orthopedic conditions
• Minimum trauma or pediatric patient exposure
• Line management skills required including IV insertion and PICC/central line management
• Cardiac skills required including 12-lead EKG acquisition, telemetry interpretation, and cardioversion/defibrillation
• Airway skills required including procedural sedation, CPAP/BiPAP, ventilator management, and trach care
• Experience with chemical dependency preferred
