Job Details:

• Work three 12-hour night shifts Tuesday through Thursday from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• No on-call responsibilities
• Perform technical CT procedures and create diagnostic images in a fast-paced Level I Trauma and Academic Medical Center
• Conduct CT exams on outpatients, inpatients (both stable and intensive care), research patients, and those requiring specialized CT scan-guided procedures
• Perform trauma and emergency room scanning
• Practice and enforce radiation safety measures in accordance with New York State Department of Health code part 16
• Support teaching and continue learning as CT technology evolves
• Must be a graduate of an approved two-year AMA Radiologic Technology School
• New York State Registration in Diagnostic Radiography or limited permit to practice in New York State required
• Must be registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• Current BLS for Healthcare Provider, CPR, or CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer certification required
