CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details:

• CT and X-ray multimodality technologist position requiring recent experience in both modalities
• Minimum 1 year of experience required, 2 years preferred
• Work in a CT scanner located in the Emergency Department
• Serve a mix of emergency and inpatient populations
• May be required to float to main hospital location within scope as needed
• Patient age groups include neonates, infants, adolescents, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
• Epic charting experience required
• Trauma Level I experience preferred
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Required certifications: ARRT R, BLS, ARRT Advanced Certification
• Required skills include: Abdomen without and/or with contrast, Adult Acute Care, Brain perfusion, Cervical, Chest without and/or with contrast, Colonography or virtual Colonography, CT arthrography, Head without and/or with contrast, Lumbar, Multiplanar reconstruction (MRP), PACS, Pediatric Acute Care, Pelvis without and/or with contrast, Preparation and/or administration of contrast media, Siemens equipment, Starting Peripheral IVs, Thoracic, Transplant studies, NICU, PICU, and Adult ICU
• Virginia or compact state license must be in hand at time of submittal
• Natural nail policy in effect
• BSN preferred
