Physical Therapist Job in Davenport, FL

AdventHealth Heart of Florida is seeking a Physical Therapist for a travel assignment in Davenport, FL. This is a day shift position running 3 days per week at 12 hours per day, with a contract duration of 89 days beginning November 2, 2026.

Position Details:

• Hours: 8:30 AM to 7:00 PM
• Schedule: 3 days per week, 12 hours per day
• No weekend shifts
• No on-call responsibilities
• Overtime requires pre-approval
• Weekly pay: $1,847

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of physical therapy experience
• Acute care physical therapy experience required
• Florida physical therapy license in hand at start
• National certification required
• New graduates will not be considered

What to Expect:

You will deliver physical therapy services in an acute care setting at a major health system facility. Your role will focus on patient mobility, rehabilitation, and recovery within a structured day shift environment. There are no weekend or on-call demands, allowing for predictable scheduling and work-life balance during your contract.
