ED Registered Nurse Job in Tucson, AZ

Northwest Medical Center in Tucson, Arizona is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Emergency Department. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning October 12, 2026.

Position Details

• 12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• 3 shifts per week (3x12s)
• 48-hour guarantee available
• Willingness to float required

Your Role

You will provide comprehensive nursing care to Emergency Department patients using the Nursing Process in accordance with Arizona Nurse Practice Act standards and hospital policies. You will demonstrate critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership in anticipating and planning safe patient care delivery. You will maintain clinical competencies through continuing education, delegate patient care priorities based on staff education and experience, and provide direction and supervision to assigned personnel.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of emergency nursing experience
• Current Arizona nursing license
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Charge nurse experience preferred
• Cerner EMR experience preferred
• NIH certification recommended (not required)

Northwest Medical Center is a Trauma Level III Certified facility with Stroke Receiving and STEMI Receiving designations, providing you with exposure to acute and critical emergency cases.

Compensation and Logistics

Weekly pay is $1,592. Dress code requires black scrubs.
