Opportunity:

RN - Acute Med Surg Acute Care

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour shifts from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend requirement
• Holiday shifts as needed
• Patient ratios of 1:5, possibly 1:6 for both days and nights
• CNA support available at 1:8 to 1:10 ratio, also utilized as sitters
• 44-bed unit with a staff of 40
• Telemetry monitored on a separate unit
• Floating required to all acute care, cardiology, and EC for acute care patient holds
• Scrub color: Caribbean Blue
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA) and NIHSS (both must be AHA)
• 1 year of experience required with 1 travel assignment
• EMR: Meditech experience preferred but not required
• General orientation: 1 week including EMR training
• Floor-specific orientation: 2 days
• Cancellation policy: 12 hours every 2 weeks
