ED - Emergency Room

RN - ER

Job Details:

• Work three 12-hour day shifts from 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM
• Every other weekend rotation required
• No on-call requirement
• Care for both ED and Med Surg patients within the ED setting
• Work in a 34-bed ED treating patients of all ages and diagnoses
• Level 3 semi/stroke receiving center and STEMI receiving center with no trauma designation
• Patient ratio of 4:1
• Accountable for assessment, coordination, delivery, and evaluation of nursing care including direct patient care, patient/family education, and transitions of care
• Deliver holistic and individualized care to patients of all age groups including neonates, infants, adolescents, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
• Facility sees approximately 120 visits per day
• Interdisciplinary support available including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, and more
• 2 years of ED experience required
• EPIC experience required
• California RN licensure required
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, ENPC (in place of PALS), MAB
