ICU RN Job in Chandler, AZ

Join Chandler Regional Medical Center as a Registered Nurse in the Intensive Care Unit. You will work three 12-hour night shifts per week on a flexible schedule with self-scheduling and manager balancing based on unit needs.

Scheduling and Expectations

• Night shift with every other weekend or up to 3 weekends per month depending on unit census
• Weekend shifts run Friday through Saturday
• One holiday off during your 91-day assignment
• May experience low census up to 3 times during your contract
• No additional call or standby shifts required
• First to float when needed to telemetry (1:3 or 1:4 ratios) or between all three ICUs

Clinical Role and Requirements

• Nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:2 or 1:1 in ICU
• Minimum 3 years recent ICU experience required; no exceptions
• Experience must include either neuro or cardiovascular specialty
• You will titrate drips including Propofol, Fentanyl, Versed, Precedex, Morphine, Dilaudid, Ketamine, Rocuronium, Levophed, Vasopressin, Cardene, Labetalol, Dopamine, Dobutamine, Heparin, and Insulin
• You will interpret your own cardiac monitor strips using GE monitors

Equipment and Systems

• Respiratory therapy equipment: Draeger, Hamilton, Puritan Bennett 840, V60s BiPAP, and Airvo
• Charting via Cerner
• Navy scrubs required

Before You Start

• One to two days of unit and department-specific orientation
• UNA Dysrhythmia Exam required 24 to 48 hours before acceptance (maximum 2 attempts)
• Pass/fail Simulation Lab on Day 1 of orientation
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA), NIHSS

Weekly pay is $2,235. Your assignment runs 91 days, starting November 9, 2026.
