Opportunity:

RN - Tele

Job Details:

• Night shift position on a Telemetry unit
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week working three 12-hour shifts
• Patient ratios of 1:5-6 for days, nights, and weekends
• 6 weekend shifts required per 6-week schedule period
• Float within service line to meet facility needs
• On-call not required
• Maximum of 7 days of requested time off per contract
• Scrub color: Navy
• Charting system: Epic (experience required)
• Free parking on site
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Required certifications: BLS (BCLS) and NIHSS; ACLS and CPI preferred
• Must be proficient in telemetry and reading cardiac rhythms
• Must be comfortable managing cardiac medications and drips (no titration required)
• Must be proficient with external pacemaker and chest tube monitoring
• Key skills include: cardiac telemetry, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, heparin protocols, central line care, PICC line management, blood product administration, BiPAP/CPAP management, and post cardiac angiogram/cath care
• Patient population consists of adults with diagnoses including TAVR, LAA's telemetry, cardiac patients, pre and post cardiothoracic surgery, chest tubes, and post PCI
• Interdisciplinary support available including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and more
