PCU - Progressive Care Unit

Opportunity:

RN - IMC

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• Block scheduling is never promised or guaranteed
• Floating to other units is required
• Scrub color: Navy Blue
• Work in a 64-bed Intermediate Care Unit with 15 designated Neuro beds
• Treat adult patients ages 18 and older
• Common diagnoses include Neuro, Cardiac, Trauma, Respiratory, COPD, DKA, Sepsis, MI, CV stepdown, and post-operative patients
• Experience with specialty equipment required including temporary pacers, chest tubes, arterial lines, BiPAP, and Neptune Vapo
• Experience with chronic ventilators required with respiratory therapy available to assist with weaning
• Minimum 2 years of experience in IMCU/PCU required
• Travel experience required
• EMR experience required: EPIC
• Required certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
• Active New York RN license required with NURSYS verification
