CT Technologist Job in Monroeville, PA

You'll work as a CT Technologist at Southwest – UPMC East in Monroeville, PA. This is a 90-day travel assignment starting August 31, 2026.

Shift & Schedule

• Rotating schedule with mostly days and evenings, occasional nights to cover staff PTO
• Two 12-hour shifts and two 8-hour shifts per week (or three 12-hour shifts if willing)
• Shift start times: 7:00 AM, 9:00 AM, 11:00 AM, or 2:30 PM
• Night shifts: 7:00 PM–7:00 AM or 11:00 PM–7:00 AM
• 4 work days per week
• Rotating weekend schedule (every other or every third weekend)
• No on-call requirements

Your Responsibilities

• Independently perform computed tomography procedures using established scan protocols, including contrast administration
• Perform venipuncture and operate power injector per department and manufacturer protocols
• Administer PO, rectal, and IV contrast per physician orders and assess patients for contrast risk factors
• Utilize complex imaging equipment for acquisition, analysis, reconstruction, and documentation
• Ensure proper patient identification using two identifiers and review history to apply departmental protocols
• Code, track, and network all exams for archiving and interpretation; enter charges for exams performed

Requirements

• 2 years of experience required
• ARRT Certificate in Radiology with CT experience or ARRT in CT (preferred)
• Graduate of ARRT-approved school of Radiologic Technology or completion of accredited CNMT program
• CT registry must be acquired within 18 months of primary registry date or hire date
• Current certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), PA Act 31, PA Act 33, PA Act 34, PA Act 73
• GE equipment experience preferred
• Procedural experience preferred
