ED Registered Nurse Job in Tucson, Arizona

Northwest Medical Center in Tucson, Arizona is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Emergency Department on a 91-day travel assignment beginning September 28, 2026.

Position Details

• Schedule: 3 twelve-hour day shifts per week, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Pay: $1,940 per week
• 48-hour guarantee available
• Willingness to float required

Your Role

You will provide nursing care to Emergency Department patients in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies. You will demonstrate critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership in anticipating and planning safe patient care delivery. You will maintain clinical competencies through continuing education, delegate patient care priorities based on staff education and experience, and provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel.

Requirements

• Current Arizona nursing license
• Minimum 2 years of emergency nursing experience
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Charge nurse experience preferred
• Cerner EMR experience preferred
• NIH certification recommended but not required

Facility Information

Northwest Medical Center is a Trauma Level III Certified facility with Stroke Receiving and STEMI Receiving designations. Dress code requires black scrubs.
