ICU RN Job in Sun City, AZ

You will work as an RN in the Intensive Care Unit at Banner Boswell Medical Center, located at 10401 W Thunderbird Blvd in Sun City, Arizona. This is a 3x12 night shift position for an 89-day contract beginning September 14, 2026. You will earn $2,434 per week.

Your responsibilities include:

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document comprehensive nursing care for ICU patients
• Perform patient assessments addressing physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, and developmental needs
• Formulate and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
• Provide direct patient care, coordination, delegation, and supervision of healthcare team activities
• Evaluate patient and family response to care and revise plans as needed
• Document all nursing interventions and patient responses according to policy
• Delegate appropriately and provide nursing supervision to licensed nurses and healthcare personnel
• Participate in unit shared leadership and educational activities

Requirements:

• Current valid RN license in Arizona
• BLS certification
• Minimum one year acute care hospital experience
• Experience in acute care setting within the past 12 months as an RN in the specialty area
• Ability to maintain clinical performance competencies through annual validations
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and use proper body mechanics for patient transfers
• Adequate hearing, visual acuity, and fine motor skills

You must have flexibility to float between Banner Boswell and Del Webb campuses as needed, with Boswell as your primary campus. A varied work schedule is required for this role.
