Respiratory Therapist - Registered Respiratory Therapist

Job Details:

• Variable shifts available: 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week
• Weekend rotation variable, every other to every third weekend
• Every other holiday rotation required
• Float requirements between Rhinelander, Tomahawk, or Eagle River locations
• May be low censused and placed on call; call back minimum is 2 hours
• Provide respiratory therapy support across all patient care areas including ED and general care areas
• Perform emergency services for Rapid Response and Code Blue situations
• Provide basic respiratory care, critical care, and ventilator management
• Conduct patient assessments using Assess and Treat Protocols for all age groups
• Perform ABG draws and EKGs
• Operate V60 BiPAP and AVEA equipment
• Minimum 2 years of experience required; travel experience preferred
• Associate Degree or Certificate required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Required certifications: AHA or ARC BLS, ACLS, NBRC CRT or RRT (RRT must be obtained within one year of hire)
• Wisconsin license required; NRP preferred
• Must live outside a 50-mile radius of facility
• Dress code: closed-toe shoes, scrubs (any color), clean; no smoking or scent allowed
