Emergency Room RN Job in Pontiac, MI

McLaren Oakland is seeking an RN for its 24/7 Emergency Department. You will provide direct nursing care to patients presenting with acute and critical conditions, including stroke symptoms, heart attack symptoms, seizures, severe injuries, and other medical emergencies.

Role Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patients with serious acute and critical conditions
• Administer medications, fluids, and emergency interventions
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment
• Document patient care and maintain accurate medical records
• Support patients and families during stressful situations

Schedule & Duration

• 3x12-hour night shifts per week
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call responsibilities
• 91-day contract assignment
• Start date: November 2, 2026

Compensation

• Weekly pay: $2,215

Required Qualifications

• Current RN license in Michigan
• Minimum 2+ years of RN experience in an emergency department
• ACLS certification (AHA)
• TNCC certification (ENPC is not accepted as a substitute)
• BLS certification (AHA)
• PALS certification (AHA)
