Ultrasound Technologist Job in San Angelo, TX

Shannon Medical Center is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist for a 91-day travel assignment in San Angelo, Texas. You will work 3 x 12-hour day shifts (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM) performing diagnostic ultrasound procedures across multiple service lines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform general, OB, and vascular ultrasound procedures
• Conduct Doppler studies, duplex scans, carotid, aorta, gallbladder, pancreas, and appendix imaging
• Perform arterial mapping and stent imaging
• Provide transcranial Doppler (TCD) services when needed
• Work with patients across all age groups: neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Operate PACS charting system
• Float to South campus as needed
• Accept call if scheduled

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of ultrasound technologist experience
• Experience in Emergency Department, ICU, NICU, and portable ultrasound
• Graduate from an accredited diagnostic medical sonography or ultrasound technician program
• Current ARDMS certification (including ARDMS AB and ARDMS RVT)
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications
• Active, in-hand license at time of submission

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with general, OB, and vascular ultrasound procedures
• TCD experience
• Prior travel healthcare experience
