Operating Room RN Job in Charleston, SC

MUSC Health Charleston is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for our Operating Room. You'll work 4x10 hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with on-call responsibilities and select weekend and holiday coverage as needed.

Role Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Level 1 trauma operating room serving adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients
• Assist with surgical procedures and maintain sterile field standards
• Respond to up to 4 on-call shifts every 4 weeks
• Work up to one weekend shift every 4 weeks
• Cover at least one holiday period (Christmas or New Year's)
• Float within scope to other OR areas as unit needs require

Requirements

• Current South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact RN license
• BLS certification
• Radiation Badge certification (provided by agency)
• 2 years of OR experience strongly preferred
• Scrub experience strongly preferred
• Level 1 trauma experience required
• Proficiency with EPIC charting system
