Med Surg RN Job in Huntington, WV

You are a Registered Nurse with strong orthopedic experience, ready to join Cabell Huntington Hospital in Huntington, WV for a 91-day travel assignment. This role offers you the opportunity to work in a dynamic Med Surg environment while building your travel nursing career.

Role Overview

You will provide direct patient care across medical-surgical units, with the flexibility to float within scope to meet facility needs. Your clinical expertise in orthopedic nursing will be valued, and your adaptability will help support the hospital's operational demands.

Schedule & Commitment

• 3x12 night shifts per week
• 91-day assignment beginning July 20, 2026
• Schedules sent in 8-week increments
• Full-time weekend requirement: 4 Saturdays and 4 Sundays per contract
• Block scheduling is not guaranteed but may be attempted
• No on-call requirement

Requirements

• Current RN license
• Minimum 1 year Med Surg experience required; 2 years preferred
• Strong orthopedic background
• Proficiency with Cerner EHR system
• First-time travelers accepted with Cerner experience

Compensation & Logistics

You will earn $1,995.84 per week. Free parking is available in both the parking lot and parking garage.
