Telemetry RN Job in Saint Louis, MO

Mercy Hospital South is seeking a Telemetry RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Saint Louis, MO. You will work 3x12 night shifts (7:00 PM to 7:30 AM) with every other weekend required and no on-call duties.

Compensation & Schedule

• Weekly pay: $2,249
• 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend required
• 36 or 48 guaranteed weekly hours (indicate at submission)
• Assignment duration: 13 weeks
• Start date: June 18, 2026

Role & Patient Care

You will manage cardiac telemetry patients on the Cardiac Tele 4 South unit with patient ratios of 1:6 to 1:8 on nights. Your patient population includes those with CHF, chest pain, arrhythmias (AFib, flutter, SVT), respiratory, renal, and hemodialysis needs. Overflow patients may include sepsis, urology, surgical, ETOH/drug withdrawals, isolation, and GI bleeds. You may float to similar or lower acuity units as needed.

Required Clinical Skills

• Proficiency reading telemetry
• Administration of Amio and Cardizem drips
• Central line experience including HD catheters, Ports, and PICCs
• 1 year inpatient cardiac telemetry experience

Preferred Skills

• Tikosyn and Sotalol initiation
• Dopamine, dobutamine, lidocaine, nitro, and milrinone drips
• Chest tubes and other drains
• CIWA protocol

Equipment & Systems

You will use lift equipment, bladder scanner, interpreter iPad, and BiPAP monitoring. The facility uses EPIC for its EMR system.

Requirements & Credentials

• Current RN license meeting Missouri licensure eligibility criteria
• BLS and ACLS from AHA (required)

Dress Code

Black scrub tops and pants. Tops must display the cross logo on the left chest. Undershirts acceptable in black, white, yellow, green, red, and blue.
