ED - Emergency Room

Opportunity:

RN - ER

Job Details:

• Primary shift hours are 3:00 PM to 3:30 AM with the ability to move to 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM if needed
• On-call required as needed
• Every other weekend required
• May float to sister campuses as needed based on staffing and census
• Provide emergency nursing care to a wide range of patients across varied age groups including neonates, infants, adolescents, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
• 2 years of experience required; 1 year of experience in ED as a traveler preferred
• Travel experience required
• Charting experience required; Epic system used
• Clock in and out using Kronos
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA), PALS, NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Valid California RN licensure required
• Required skills include: triage, IV insertion and maintenance, phlebotomy, blood product administration, arterial line management, central line care and management, care of ventilated patients, BiPAP/CPAP management, continuous IV sedation, IV vasopressors, procedural sedation administration and monitoring, interpretation of arterial blood gases, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, ICP monitoring, sepsis protocol, isolation precautions and PPE, and identification and reporting of neglect or abuse
