OR RN Job in Odessa, TX

Join Odessa Regional Medical Center as a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room. This 91-day travel assignment offers a structured five-day work week with 8-hour shifts during day hours. Role Responsibilities

• Scrub and assist physicians during surgical cases, demonstrating critical thinking and scientific judgment
• Anticipate and plan patient care needs in collaboration with surgeons, anesthesiologists, surgical technicians, and perioperative staff
• Ensure surgical supplies are available and cases progress on schedule
• Communicate with patient families and maintain physician preference cards
• Supervise personnel delivering patient care in the OR
• Maintain compliance with the State Nurse Practice Act, AORN standards, regulatory requirements, physician orders, and hospital policies

Requirements

• Current RN license
• Minimum 2 years of operating room experience
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
