PACU - Post Anesthesia Care

Opportunity:

Registered Nurse - PACU

Job Details:

• Outpatient Surgery Center PACU position
• Schedule options of 4x10s or 5x8s will be considered
• No call, no weekends, and no holidays required
• No more than 2-3 days of consecutive weekday time off requests
• 2 years of experience in PACU required
• Pediatric experience strongly preferred
• Travel experience preferred
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
• Charting system experience required; Altera experience preferred but not required
• Required skills include: Ambulatory/Outpatient, Phase I PACU, Pre-Post care, Dysrhythmia recognition and management, Narcotics/Opioid Analgesics, Reversal agents, Conscious Sedation, General/Local/MAC anesthesia, Nerve Blocks, Malignant Hyperthermia Protocol, Pain assessment and management, RASS, ENT, Ophthalmology, Ortho, Plastics, Tonsillectomy, Cholecystectomy, Emergency Medications, Management of pediatric patients, Abdominoplasty, Breast augmentation, Airway assessment, Placement of Oral/Nasal airways, and Podiatry
