ED RN Job in Richmond, VA

Join the Emergency Department at CJW Medical - Johnston-Willis Campus as a Registered Nurse on a 91-day seasonal travel assignment. You will work nights in a dynamic 24-bed ED with 5 fast track beds located on the 1st floor of the main hospital.

Assignment Details

• Shift: 3x12 nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Duration: 91 days, starting October 26, 2026
• Schedule: Every other weekend required; no on-call responsibilities
• No floating between units
• Patient ratio: 4:1

What You'll Do

You will deliver direct patient care in a fast-paced setting, working alongside charge nurses, technicians, and paramedics. The night shift operates with 1 charge nurse and 4–9 nurses depending on time of day and arrival patterns. You will chart in Meditech and apply strong clinical judgment to manage varying patient acuity levels.

Required Qualifications

• Current RN license
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications

Preferred Qualifications

• NIHSS, ENPC, or CPI certification
