Job Details:

• Minimum 1 year of recent CSICU experience required
• Epic electronic health record experience required
• Provide competent clinical nursing care consistent with professional standards
• Coordinate and deliver patient care utilizing the nursing process in a hospital setting
• Demonstrate competence in care of patients with complex problems including physical, psychosocial, educational, and safety aspects of care
• Perform bedside point of care testing as required for patient care plan
• Organize and prioritize care according to patient and family needs
• Consult with appropriate resources regarding patients with complex care issues and high-risk discharge planning
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments including physical, psychosocial, education, and safety needs
• Collaborate with patient and family to prepare and update plan of care
• Utilize multidisciplinary resources in planning and delivering patient care
• Identify and address cultural and ethnic issues in planning patient care
• Communicate relevant information to promote continuity of care across interdisciplinary team
• Participate in performance improvement activities and unit goal development
• Assess readiness to learn and provide education to patients, families, and caregivers
• Promote a safe, clean, and secure hospital environment for all patients and staff
