ED RN Job in Sun City, AZ

You will work as a registered nurse in the Emergency Department at Banner Boswell Medical Center, located at 10401 W Thunderbird Blvd in Sun City, Arizona. This is a 89-day travel assignment beginning October 12, 2026.

Schedule and Compensation

• 3 nights per week, 12-hour shifts
• $2,434 weekly pay

Your Role

You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for emergency department patients in accordance with organizational policies and professional nursing standards. Your responsibilities include:

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments covering physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural needs, and discharge planning
• Review patient history, diagnostics, and laboratory data; report abnormal results to physicians and appropriate caregivers
• Formulate and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
• Delegate and supervise activities of licensed and non-licensed healthcare team members
• Evaluate patient and family responses to care and teaching, revising plans as needed
• Document all assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluations accurately and timely
• Participate in shared leadership, staff education, precepting, and mentoring as appropriate

Staffing and Placement

You will float between Banner Boswell Medical Center and Del Webb campuses as needed, with Boswell as your primary campus.

Requirements

• Current, valid RN license in Arizona
• Minimum one year of experience in an acute care hospital setting
• Experience in emergency nursing within the past 12 months
• BLS certification required
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Professional certification preferred
