Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work on a 30-bed Med Surg unit with a 1:6 patient ratio
• Unit support includes 2-3 techs per shift, clinical coordinator, charge nurse, manager, and director
• Every other weekend and holiday rotation required
• No block scheduling guaranteed
• Float between 2 North and 2 West units
• Utilize equipment including wound vac, heparin drip, suction, IV pumps, glucometers, bladder scanner, feeding pump, and telemetry
• Document using Editech documentation system
• Required skills: IV starts, NGT placement, wound care, and cardiac rhythm interpretation
• Perform lab draws and IV starts on unit
• Required certification: BLS
• Dress code: Navy scrubs; no fleece or sweatshirts permitted
