CT Technologist Job in Southampton, NY

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a CT Technologist for a travel assignment at Stony Brook Southampton Hospital in Southampton, NY. This is a direct patient care role operating advanced imaging equipment in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Operate CT and MRI equipment to perform imaging procedures for patients of all ages
• Prepare patients for imaging studies and explain procedures to ensure comfort and compliance
• Perform intravenous therapy, contrast selection, and injection procedures according to protocol
• Obtain high-quality imaging information to support accurate diagnosis and patient management
• Present completed images to physicians for diagnostic interpretation
• Maintain detailed written documentation including informed consent forms
• Adhere to all safety procedures, radiation safety protocols, and infection control standards

Assignment Details:

• Location: Southampton, NY
• Facility: Stony Brook Southampton Hospital
• Duration: 89 days
• Start Date: November 2, 2026
• Shift: 12-hour shifts, variable day hours from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM
• Hours: 37.5 hours per week
• Schedule includes Saturday availability
• Weekly Pay: $2,787

Required Qualifications:

• Allied Health Professional credential or equivalent
• Graduate of an accredited Radiology Program
• Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification and NYSDOH license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Current certification to perform contrast injections
• Specialized training in MRI Technology and cross-sectional anatomy
• High school diploma or equivalent
