Opportunity:

SMH Level 4 RN OR Neurovascular Moderate Sedation - SMH

Job Details:

• Work 36 or 40 hours per week on day shifts with 10 or 12 hour shift options
• On-call required for weekends and nights
• Join a dedicated team providing moderate sedation in a fast-paced procedural area
• Care for patients undergoing preventative and interventional stroke care
• Responsibilities include intraoperative moderate sedation and circulating when not providing moderate sedation
• Administer moderate sedation and closely monitor patient cardiac and physical status
• Collaborate with physician to ensure patient safety, comfort, and privacy
• Circulate only role
• New York (NY) RN license required
• Moderate sedation experience required
• Interventional radiology (IR) experience required
• Minimum two (2) years of experience required; OR experience in a Level 1 trauma hospital preferred
• Telemetry required
• Required certifications: BLS (American Heart Association only) and ACLS (American Heart Association only)
