Operating Room RN Job in Albany, NY

Albany Medical Center is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN for a 91-day travel assignment. This is a full-time position covering a vacant role in the OR, offering the opportunity to practice advanced surgical nursing in a dynamic acute-care setting.

Position Details

• Weekly Pay: $2,816
• Possible on-call requirement

What You'll Do

You will deliver perioperative nursing care across multiple surgical specialties, demonstrating competency in complex surgical procedures. Your experience must span cardiac, neuro, thoracic, orthopedic, and vascular cases. You will work as part of the surgical team, managing patient care before, during, and after surgery, with attention to infection prevention, equipment management, and surgical flow.

What We're Looking For

• Current RN license
• Strong experience in cardiac, neuro, thoracic, orthopedic, and vascular procedures
• Demonstrated competency across multiple surgical specialties
• Experience with complex surgical procedures and perioperative care
• Ability to work in a fast-paced surgical environment
