Albany Medical Center is seeking an RN for a travel assignment in the Operating Room. This is a 91-day contract beginning September 28, 2026, offering day shifts on a 4x10 schedule at $2,806 weekly.

Role Overview

You will provide direct perioperative nursing care in a busy surgical environment. Your responsibilities include patient assessment, preparation, intraoperative support, and post-operative monitoring across multiple surgical specialties. You will demonstrate clinical competency and contribute to safe surgical outcomes in a fast-paced setting.

Required Experience

• Proven RN experience in cardiac procedures
• Neuro surgery nursing background
• Thoracic surgery experience
• Orthopedic surgical nursing
• Vascular surgery procedures
• Complex surgical cases and perioperative care

Eligibility

Local candidates from ineligible counties are not accepted as of January 11, 2024. You must hold an active RN license valid in New York and demonstrate competency across the surgical specialties noted above.
