Med Surg RN Job in Nashville, TN

You will work as an RN on the Med Surg unit at Skyline Medical Center in Nashville, TN. This is a 91-day travel contract starting October 12, 2026.

Schedule and Compensation

• 3 twelve-hour night shifts per week (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• 2 weekends (4 shifts) per 4-week schedule
• $1,918.44 weekly pay

Unit Expectations

• Patient ratio of 6:1
• Bedside shift reports and compassionate care for patients and family members
• Include patients and families in care planning
• Float as contract labor staff when needed

Clinical Skills Required

• Active RN license and current BLS certification
• Med Surg experience with ability to prioritize and multitask
• Starting IVs, basic wound care, and maintenance of surgical drains, nasogastric tubes, and chest tubes

Equipment and Systems

• IV pumps, telemetry, SCDs, continuous pulse oximetry machines, feeding pumps, PCA, and EKG machines
• Bladder scanner and iMobile communication technology
• Meditech documentation system
