ICU - Intensive Care Unit

Opportunity:

RN - ICU

Job Details:

• 3x12 day/night rotation shifts as needed
• Day shift hours: 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Night shift hours: 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Weekend rotation required
• No on-call responsibilities
• True full float position rotating between three campuses: Van Ness, Mission Bernal, and Davies (each campus is approximately 15 minutes apart with shuttle transport available)
• Travelers will be notified 2 hours prior to shift start time of assigned campus location
• Floating mid-shift is rare; scheduling at different campuses per shift is possible
• Float coverage includes ICU campuses, Step Down units (TICU at Van Ness and Davies, PCU at Mission Bernal), ICU boarder RN in any of the 3 EDs, or MST floor at any of the 3 campuses as needed
• 4 years of ICU experience required
• Travel experience required
• California RN License required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA or ARC), NIHSS
• Skills required include but are not limited to: arterial line management, ventilator management, central line care/management, blood product administration, continuous IV sedation and paralytics, CVVHD/CRRT, titrating cardiac and vasoactive drips, CVA/acute stroke management, ICP monitoring, management of multisystem organ dysfunction/failure, and interpretation of dysrhythmias
