Telemetry RN Float Pool Job in Philadelphia, PA

Join Temple Health - Chestnut Hill Hospital as a Telemetry RN in a float pool position covering four distinct units: Cardiac Telemetry, two Med/Surg Telemetry units, and Surgical Telemetry. Unit sizes range from 19 to 34 beds, with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 4–5 to 1.

Position Details

• Schedule: 3 shifts of 12 hours on days per week
• Assignment duration: 90 days
• Start date: September 14, 2026
• Weekly pay: $2,328
• Every other weekend requirement; holiday coverage as applicable
• No on-call obligations

Qualifications and Requirements

• Pennsylvania Registered Nurse License required
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience with travel experience required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; Bachelor's Degree preferred

Core Responsibilities

• Assess, implement, and evaluate individualized care for assigned patients under physician direction
• Demonstrate clinical knowledge of stroke patients and cardiac drips, including Amiodarone, Nitroglycerin, and Cardizem
• Collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes
• Direct nursing support staff in patient care according to professional standards and departmental policies

You will work across multiple telemetry settings, applying your expertise in cardiac monitoring and medical-surgical nursing while maintaining consistency in patient care standards across the float pool.
