ED Registered Nurse Job in Tucson, AZ

Northwest Medical Center in Tucson, Arizona is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department on a 91-day travel assignment. You will work the night shift, 3 days per week on a 12-hour schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with a 48-hour weekly guarantee.

About the Role

You will deliver direct patient care to Emergency Department patients using the Nursing Process in accordance with Arizona's Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies. Your responsibilities include demonstrating critical thinking, sound clinical judgment, and leadership in anticipating and planning for safe patient care delivery. You will maintain your clinical competencies through continuing education, delegate patient care priorities based on staff qualifications, and provide direction and supervision to assigned personnel.

Requirements

• Valid Arizona nursing license
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Current PALS certification
• Willingness to float between units
• Black scrubs required per dress code

Preferred Qualifications

• Charge nurse experience
• Cerner EMR experience
• NIH certification (recommended but not required)

Compensation and Assignment Details

Weekly pay is $2,216. The assignment runs for 91 days, with a start date of October 19, 2026.
