Med Surg RN Job in Belton, Missouri

You'll join Belton Regional Medical Center as a Registered Nurse on the Medical Surgical unit located on 2 West of the Main Building. This is a 12-week travel assignment running from December 14, 2026, at $2,628 per week.

Role Details

• Work four 12-hour day shifts per week (7a–7p)
• 48 hours guaranteed per week
• Patient ratio of 1:5–6
• 3 weekend shifts required per month
• No on-call requirements
• Opportunities for resourcing, precepting, and working with students

Unit Information

You'll work on a 27-bed Medical Surgical Telemetry unit. Day shift staffing includes 1 CNC, 5–6 RNs, and 3 CNAs. Night shift operates with the same structure. The unit uses Meditech for the EMR system.

Typical Procedures & Equipment

Procedures include general surgery, echo, EKG, colonoscopy, TEE, EEG, and wound vac management. Equipment you'll use includes Welch-Allyn vital sign machines, glucometers, Polar Ice, and CBI systems.

Requirements & Dress Code

• Current BLS and ALS certifications
• NIH certification required
• Grey scrubs for RNs and LPNs
• Navy scrubs for PCT and CNA staff

The unit is open to block scheduling for travelers, providing flexibility with your assignment schedule.
