Emergency Department RN Job in Sun City West, AZ

Banner Del Webb Medical Center is seeking an RN for the Emergency Department in Sun City West, Arizona. This is a travel nursing position with a three-month assignment starting September 28, 2026.

Position Overview

You will provide direct patient care in a fast-paced emergency setting, working three 12-hour night shifts per week. Your role includes assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care across the emergency department. You may float between Banner Del Webb Medical Center and Banner Boswell Medical Center campuses as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments addressing physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, and cultural needs
• Formulate and implement individualized plans of care using assessment data and patient/family input
• Provide direct patient care, coordination, delegation, and supervision of healthcare team members
• Evaluate patient and family responses to care and teaching, adjusting plans accordingly
• Document all nursing activities in patient records per facility policy
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care
• Participate in education and orientation of facility personnel
• Maintain discharge planning and clinical performance competencies appropriate to the work area

Requirements

• Current valid RN license in Arizona
• BLS certification
• Minimum one year of acute care hospital experience
• Acute care experience within the past 12 months as an RN in the specialty area
• Bachelor's degree and professional certification preferred

Compensation and Schedule

Weekly pay is $2,434. The assignment is 89 days with night shift flexibility across two Banner facilities.
