Respiratory Therapist - Registered Respiratory Therapist

Job Details:

• Night shift position working 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Work every other weekend as part of regular scheduling
• Participate in call rotation approximately one call shift per month or as required by the department
• Call requirement includes 2 hours for the oncoming shift
• 3+ years of experience required
• Float requirements include NICU/PICU, acute care pediatrics, ED, adult acute, and critical care
• Patient ratios: acute care 1:25, critical care 1:8
• Cover entire facility as part of a team of 14-16 RRTs
• Required certifications: BLS required, ACLS preferred, NRP for NICU, RRT required
• Tertiary teaching hospital experience and Level 1 trauma experience required
• NICU/PICU and cardiothoracic experience preferred
• Equipment used includes: Draeger V500 and VN500, Hamilton T1 and C1, Respironics V30, V60, Trilogy line, Airvo, and Vapotherm
• EMR system: EPIC
• Scrubs provided or flexible scrub color policy
• Flexible team player with strong communication skills preferred
