Emergency Department RN Job in Phoenix, AZ

You will provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting at Banner Estrella Medical Center. Working a 3x12 night schedule, you will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for diverse patient populations while maintaining high standards of documentation and communication.

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments including physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, and cultural needs evaluation
• Review patient history, diagnostics, and laboratory data; report abnormal results promptly to physicians and care team members
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient-specific needs and physician orders
• Coordinate, delegate, and supervise health care team activities to ensure continuity and quality of care
• Evaluate patient and family responses to care and teaching; revise care plans as clinical needs change
• Document assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation accurately and timely in the patient record
• Participate in unit and facility shared leadership initiatives and contribute to improvement of nursing quality indicators and patient outcomes
• Precept and mentor facility personnel, students, families, and visitors as appropriate

Requirements: Current, valid RN license in Arizona. Minimum one year acute care hospital experience required, with acute care experience within the past 12 months in your specialty area. Current certifications in BLS, TNCC, and NIH required. Bachelor's degree and professional certification preferred.

This 89-day assignment begins October 19, 2026, with weekly pay of $2,446.20. You will work with an established healthcare team at a major medical center committed to quality patient outcomes.
