Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• 3x12 or 4x12 night shift schedule available on weekdays and weekends
• 13-week contract with possibility of extension
• Patient ratios of 1:5-7
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Travel experience not required
• Blocked schedule requests cannot be guaranteed, but unit will work with travelers as best as possible
• No scrubs provided
• Charting system: Cerner (experience required)
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS - must be through the American Heart Association (AHA)
• WV or Compact License required; pending license accepted for submission
• Candidates must have a permanent address greater than 100 miles from the facility
• Maximum of 2-3 call offs tolerated per contract
• Skills required include: blood product administration, BiPAP/CPAP management, heparin and insulin protocols, interpretation of dysrhythmias and ABGs, IV management, PICC line management, tracheostomy care, wound care/wound vac, and use of rapid response/code teams, among others
• Interdisciplinary support available including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, social services, and rapid response teams
