Med Surg RN Job in Morgantown, WV

You'll work as a Registered Nurse on a 12-bed inpatient oncology unit with medical/surgical overflow at Mon Health Medical Center in Morgantown, West Virginia. This is a 13-week contract with the possibility of extension.

Shift and Schedule

• Night shift: 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 4x12 shift option (or 3x12 available)
• Weekday shifts with every other weekend required
• Blocked schedule available

Your Role

You will care for adult and geriatric patients with a ratio of 1:5–6. Your responsibilities include IV starts, chemotherapy administration, patient assessment, and care coordination. Oncology experience is preferred but not required.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years RN experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• NIHSS certification
• IV start skills
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Cerner charting system experience preferred
• ONS Chemo/Bio certification preferred

You'll have access to an interdisciplinary team including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and transportation services.

What to Know

• Weekly pay: $2,301
• Scrubs not provided; burgundy and/or white required
• Maximum of 2–3 call-offs permitted per contract
