Opportunity:

RN - Rehab

Job Details:

• 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 3x12-hour night shifts per week with weekday, every other weekend, and float scheduling
• Guaranteed hours of 36 or 48 hours per week - discuss preference with manager
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call requirement
• May be floated to Med Surg within scope to meet facility needs
• Block schedule requests considered - discuss during interview
• 24-bed Medical Rehab unit serving patients with cerebrovascular disease, traumatic brain injury, amputees, spinal cord injuries, deconditioning, and neurological diseases
• Patient age groups include adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Patient ratios: Days 1:4/5, Nights 1:5/6
• Each patient is assigned a care team including a physiatrist, NP, nurse, therapists, and social worker who collaborate on individualized care plans
• Therapy works with patients 3 hours per day Monday through Friday with an average length of stay of approximately 2 weeks
• Charting system: Cerner experience required
• Scrub color: Royal Blue/White or combination
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Minimum 1 year of in-specialty experience required
• Charge experience preferred; first-time travelers accepted
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA required); acute care rehab certification preferred
• WV or Compact RN License required; pending license accepted for submission
• Minimum 2 Manager and/or Charge Nurse references from the past 2 years required
