Physical Therapist

Opportunity:

PT - Outpatient

Job Details:

• Day shift position working 5x8 hour shifts per week
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Occasional weekend hours required
• No call requirements
• Patient caseload of up to 10 patients per day
• Treat all types of patients including neuro, orthopedic, and developmental cases
• Plan and implement physical therapy evaluation and treatment plan programs based on patient physical, developmental, and psychosocial needs
• Provide advisory services to other team members to support quality patient care
• EMR system: EPIC
• Scrub color required: Black; unapproved t-shirts and yoga pants are not acceptable attire
• Must hold current licensure in the State of Missouri
• BLS/CPR certification required (American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Card)
• Minimum 1 year of outpatient physical therapy experience required
• Must have general knowledge of evaluation and treatment principles for a diverse number and types of diagnoses
• Physical demands include heavy lifting, extensive bending and standing, pushing up to 40 lbs., pulling up to 60 lbs., gripping up to 50 lbs., pinching up to 15 lbs., and occasional kneeling, crouching, and crawling
• Must demonstrate competency in equipment used for delivery of modalities
