Telemetry RN Job in Burlington, NC

Cone Health – Alamance Regional Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for their Med-Surg Telemetry unit. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning November 9, 2026.

Schedule & Compensation

• 3x12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend and holidays as needed
• Weekly pay: $2,073.60

Role Details

You will care for adult and geriatric patients with multiple co-morbidities, with a specialized focus on stroke and neuro patient populations. Patient ratios are 1:5–1:6. You may float between health system facilities as needed.

Required Experience & Certifications

• Minimum 2 years nursing experience; first-time travelers accepted
• BLS and NIHSS certification required
• EPIC charting system experience required
• Telemetry remote monitoring experience required; on-unit monitoring preferred
• Dysrhythmia interpretation and EKG testing required; must pass compliance EKG exam (2 attempts allowed)
• CVA and cerebrovascular accident experience required

Clinical Skills Required

• Accessing and managing ports
• Blood product administration
• Central line care and management
• Peripheral line care and management
• PICC line management
• Starting and maintaining IVs
• Feeding tube care and management
• Nasal cannula experience
• Isolation precautions, PPE, wound care, and wound vac experience

You will have access to interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, and pharmacy.
